*sung to tone of Britney Spears’ “(You Drive Me) Crazy”*
401(K), I’m so into you
You got that tax deferral, what can I do
401(K), for you I waited a year
Now I know that my tax vehicle is here
You drive me to savings
I just can’t sleep
I’m so excited, I’m in too deep
Ohh…crazy, but it feels alright
Asset allocation keeps me up all night
Tell me, you’re so into me
That my account is safe from Uncle Sam’s reach
Tell me stock appreciation is true
That I’m not wasting my money on you
401(K) you mean so much more
More than any tax deferral I’ve had before!
T-14 days until 401(K) kicks in!
This is unbearably cute. 🙂
Congrats on the 401(k)! Hooray!
I like this. I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait a year where I work. Every year I say that I’m going to max out my retirement accounts but it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe this year!
My head just exploded. It’s okay though, it’s back in 1 piece.
Haha. Sorry – I hope Britney wasn’t too much for you.
Wow. Did you write that? I understand being excited about a 401(k), but I have never heard anyone sing a song about it. 🙂
omg, you are so destined for business school 🙂 very cute!
OMG. You are so financially dorktastic i love it. I wish some of that would rub off on me!!!
haha that is awesome! 401ks are one of the sexiest things around – good lookin’ out.
I wonder if I’m the only person in the world who thinks the stock market is a Ponzi scheme. My last 19 years in the stock market made my broker and the CEO’s of the companies I invested in rich and me poor. Is it my age, 36, that makes me so cynical or my bad experience with the stock market. All I know is that my savings account has been the best investment for me except the government is providing interest free loans to the banks which give me crappy interest rates. Sigh.
