I’m silently jumping up and down for joy.
Today, I am going to go to work. I am going to eat one (or two) delicious Trader Joe’s tamales ($1.99 for pack of two). Heat ‘em up real nice and imagine you are in a restaurant. Seriously - they are that good.
After work, I’m picking up CB at the train station.
Then, we might have dinner at a little Thai restaurant nearby, or make something at home if I’m feeling especially virtuous.
At night, we’ll go to the museum for an hour right before it closes. I have a membership (part of my education budget), so we can get in for free.

My Friday plans include marking up the rest of my books and organizing all the materials for the practice exam for Saturday’s last official class. I’ve got two weeks before the real test is coming.
Hopefully I can squeeze in some time for the grocery store … I’m feeling very tired and don’t have the motivation to chop and cook vegetables in the fridge.
Friday already? Craziness. I have a team outing this afternoon to go bowling. I’m no good at bowling, so I’m looking forward to free beer. I think hubby and I are going out to dinner. I have lots to do this weekend (packing), and I’m not happy about it!

Oh, museums. Hmmm…Maybe I’ll hit the Cloisters tomorrow. It’s still cold enough that it won’t be crowded…
My Friday includes going to a beer garden (even though I don’t drink beer) for a friend’s birthday, and–thank you, Mr. CEO–getting off work 3 hours early for the holiday.
Yay for Friday!!!
After work, I’m packing as quickly as possible and heading up to my parent’s house, hubby and kitty in tow! My mom loves to cook and just be a mom, so I’m looking forward to HUGE meals, free tailoring and a nice family weekend.
If only I could leave early from work and beat the traffic…
FINALLY Friday!! Whoo-hoo! Since I haven’t seen my boyfriend over a week he’s taking me out!! Yay! Not sure where yet though.

Well, i’m not at work for a start! We pretty much all get Good Friday off over here, so i spent the morning walking on the beach and now i have the afternoon free for some study. Huzzah! Your tamales (never had one, maybe i’ll try some day!) sound lovely, as do the evening plans… enjoy!
And i hope you at least get Monday off.
I shall enjoy the first day of spring break.
I WILL NOT think about the massive amount of exams I need to grade or my students.
Yay boss! He planned a team outing for this afternoon. Due to corporate budget cuts, there’s (a) no raises and (b) no team building budget, but we went out to lunch together to watch the NCAA games and then got let out at 2. It’s sunny and warm here, so I am in flip flops with the doors to the apt open.
Working all weekend.
On Friday my daughter and I ran errands including: Paying phone/internet bill, library, post office, and grocery shopping. Nothing exciting here this Friday.
On Friday I was on vacation in Chicago and it snowed! I’m from Texas so my friends and I were VERY excited about it, even though all the locals we met thought we were crazy.
